Customize page title
A page title in Joomla is determined by the title of the article or the name of the menu item. This title is adopted by search engines as the title of the search result. In this article I will show you how to customize the page title.
Adjust page title in the menu item
In this example, we are using the menu item "Home." In Google, this will show up as:
Of course, we don't want it to show up in Google as "Home," we want a relevant title.
Using Menus, find and open the menu item:
The Menu title remains "Home," so in the menu you will see the "Home" menu item.
Go to the "Page Display" tab and enter a relevant Title under Browser Page Title.

The result in Google
Have you added a relevant page title? Then chances are that Google will adopt the title in its search results. (It may take a few weeks before you see the results)
