# Home (Start) removed from homepage 

After you install Joomla, go to the frontend and you will see "Home" (or "start" in a multilingual installation).

 
## How do you remove "Home" from the homepage in Joomla?

 To do this, go to menus > Main Menu and look for the Home menu item.

 Open the menu item and go to the "Page View" tab.

 Set the "Show page header" option to NO and save the menu item.

Visit the frontend of your website again and you will see that the word "Home" is now gone from your homepage.
